Remember these sports coats are meant to attract attention, to stand out. As a big person you do not always want to stand out, but that is personal preference.

You might want to look for simpler sports coats if you really want one. A small chest logo, no bars or stripes over your waist/belly area and only logo's and text on the back.

The materials used often in these jackets are also not big and tall friendly. Nylon is a non breathing fabric. Try to look for cotton with little polymer fibres.

Also try to avoid shiny types of materials. When you sweat a bit you will see dark patches on the sweaty area's. Smudges, smears or other little accidents are also easy visible on these sport coats.
