Big Mens clothes

Disadvantages of the big man posture

Lets be 100% realistic. Big Mens clothes need a bit more attention in staying clean than apparel from thinner people. Some of the disadvantages we have are:

We sweat more

on top of that, our sweat is not as clean as thinner peoples sweat.

This needs some explanation: Big people simply have more minerals in their sweat, bacteria grow on those minerals and the sweat smells more.

Masking sweat smells is quite easy. Wear an under shirt and spray some of the deodorant on that shirt.

Avoid deo sprays containing aluminium on the skin. Aluminium clogs up the sweat glands and you will at first sweat less, but when you really start to sweat it becomes a unstoppable sweat tsunami.

Sweat and smell

Use the good old-fashioned alum as deo. Alum is used to patch little razor cuts and often come in small sticks or blocks. Rub a bit on a wet hand and apply to your armpits. This is a great deo, preventing most smells. The deo on your t-shirt does the rest. The alum trick is also good for people who sweat excessively.

Do not wear an under shirt more than one time.

Sweaty legs or sweat between legs, do not use too loose boxer shorts. Slightly tighter undies will absorb more.

Also try to wear wool containing socks. Wool is antibacterial, and will not smell as cotton or polyester socks. Wear leather shoes.

Falling crumbs

Although our bellies provide ample distance from the food sources and we sit further from the table when eating we also give crumbs more change to fall on our clothing when we eat.

Stains on the belly area can be avoided with a tie. You can avoid stains on pants by placing a napkin on your lap. If you feel uncomfortable with those white patches on your lap than safe up some darker napkins from Christmas.

Brushes

We are more likely to brush against a door / doorpost, the door locking mechanism in a car, the edge of the coffee cabinet. etc. Our bodies needs a tad more space for complicated manoeuvres.

Tip, keep your hands free, use a decent linen bag, or small shoulder bag to transport stuff. Keep pockets closed to avoid door handle-rips ( big and tall know what i mean)
